Choose between traditional, exclusive, or street food, and develop a new visual identity for the restaurant. Create a simple strategy that identifies the restaurant’s brand personality, target group, and unique selling points. Define values that appeal to the target group through the use of a logo, colors, and typography. Additionally, demonstrate how the identity is applied to physical surfaces.

How can I create a concept for a restaurant that makes it easy for young adults aged 25-35 to enjoy authentic Italian food, without it being expensive or overly formal?

Concept describtion

The idea behind "Casuale" was to engage with customers in a unique and personal way, allowing them to be part of shaping the restaurant's identity. My goal was to create a meeting point between traditional culture and modernity in an informal and effortless manner.
The cultural element I chose from Italy was the "wine window", which symbolizes Italy’s deep love for its people by serving wine through a small window in the wall, even during the Italian plague.

To create a distinctive and personal design, I incorporated simple hand-drawn illustrations. The colors are inspired by the breathtaking Italian sunsets, and together with the logo, they form the visual identity of the concept.
